Mgr - Material Planning

Duties & Responsibilities A challenging opportunity exists for a talented individual to help manage and drive the Operations and Inventory processes in the System Test Group at Teradyne's North Reading HQ. You will manage a Global Team which includes Buyers, Master Schedulers, Planners and Business Analysts across multiple sites. You will direct the team activities and integrate with multiple groups including Finance, Marketing, New Products, Engineering and External Manufacturing.  The position will require a highly motivated person with very strong MRP, analytical and problem solving skills as well as Managerial experience. You must be able to develop and implement innovative solutions to business problems. Responsibilities:   Lead Master Scheduling, Planning and Purchasing Team  - Integrate with North Reading Manufacturing Team, Marketing, Program Management and Finance to define slot plan and MRP drive and ensure Revenue and On Time Delivery requirements are met for the business units of System Test Group Manage the Demand Management and North Reading Planning team as well as the Master Schedule for the Board Test Division, Mil Aero and Storage Business Units Integrate with manufacturing team in Cebu, Finance and Marketing to ensure Revenue and On Time Delivery requirements as well as Forecast and Inventory goals are met for the business units. Manage the Inventory Control team for both the Mil Aero and Board Test Divisions. Lead the quarterly E&O reviews and Contra Claim reviews. Provide Ad-hoc inventory analysis to better manage product transitions and inventory exposure. Manage quarterly cycle counts. Integrate with the Design Engineering teams to understand and implement Product ECNs and manage product transitions. Lead the efforts towards continuously improving operational efficiencies, customer satisfaction, maximizing capacity and profitability. Lead the discontinuance team for the Mil Aero, Hard Disk Drive and Board Test groups - Integrate with SBM, Finance, Marketing and Engineering to ensure no gap in the supply stream. Provide Last Time Buys recommendations. Support the Quality Management System and participate in yearly AS9100 and ISO audits. Develop and execute cost reduction plans Develop and execute reduced lead time programs Ensure proper forecast material levels are at an accepted level to achieve agreed upon service level of business Monitor, report, and ensure On Time Delivery, Quality, and Purchasing Metrics are meeting or exceeding goals Follow and create processes to ensure fiscal responsibility of material planning and shipments Work with the Supply Line Management group to develop, analyze, monitor, and meet cost structures and models     Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required Qualifications, Experience and skills requirements: BS/BA in Business, MBA preferred, Apics knowledge or certification a plus 10 years experience in Supply Chain management, Demand and Manufacturing Planning and Inventory Management Knowledge of MRP required (preferably Oracle) Working knowledge of inventory, capacity, material gathering, master scheduling, and finance aspects of manufacturing and outsourcing of electromechanical systems and PCBAs Procurement experience for factories based in Asia Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to foster and lead a team of multiple disciplines Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines in a very fast paced environment Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization Proficiency in Excel and Power Point 14529BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
