EMI/EMC/Signal and Power Integrity Principal/Lead Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities Teradyne is looking for an experienced EMI/EMC/Signal and Power Integrity lead design engineer to support the hardware design activities of the Semiconductor Test Division. The person that fills this role will be a member of the hardware senior staff and work with all the hardware development teams. You will be responsible to insure the hardware designs: circuits, PCBAs and systems, meet all the performance and fidelity requirements associated with EMI/EMC and signal integrity.   The position / responsibilities:   The hardware team develops test measurement instruments that must operate with very low noise levels to obtain best in class measurement capability. The designs are challenged by both density of circuits, simultaneous operation of different circuits and an environment where many instruments are collocated in a chassis making different measurements. Access to the Device Under Test (DUT) may require signal delivery that has many of these same challenges - colocation and simultaneous operation of many different signaling. This position will provide expert design and guidance to all teams by setting design and simulation guidelines, providing recommendations, performing analysis and active participation on all new hardware designs. You will review, recommend, simulate and work with the teams to insure we meet all performance and fidelity requirements by design. You will assume overall accountability to insure our designs operate with the expected fidelity and compliance under all operating conditions. As a leader, you will organize and lead a team of individuals that are made up from members of multiple teams (systems engineering, hardware circuit design, mechanical, PCB design, etc.). The cross functional team will review, set standards, and make recommendations for our hardware development.  In this context, you will be generating and educating on process, methods and techniques. You will evaluate technology, methods and tools for further advancements.   Requirements:     Proficient in 3D modeling and simulation of electrical and magnetic fields using tools such as HFSS, ADS, etc. Proficient in signal and power integrity modeling and simulation using tools such as Cadence Sigrity. 15+ years of practical, hands on, design experience in low noise circuits, systems, cabling Proficient in design of PCBAs, circuits, systems and cable for low noise, EMI/EMC. Strong understand and hands on use of testing equipment and methodology   Leadership and Personal   Ability to lead teams of highly technical contributors, setting goals, and driving a group to meet objectives Strong organizational capabilities to balance multiple active program Ability to react quickly and solve problems, working with others Ability to synthesize data and present, with strong written and oral skills     Education   MS EE or Physics, Field Theory

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
