Responsible day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers. Duties Coordinating and performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Scheduling installations and upgrades and maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Ensuring workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities. Planning and implementing the modernization of servers. Implementing and promoting standard operating procedures and schedules. Conducting hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Implementing new standards, policies and procedures. Requirements BA/BS or Associates degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; Minimum 3
years experience in a related field; experience in the A/E/C industry strongly preferred. Must possess excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills. Experience with distributed computing systems and system data integrity. Prior experience maintaining a Microsoft-based network including the following Microsoft server software and frameworks: SQL Server; Exchange Server, ISA Server/Forefront TMG; Lync/LCS Server; WSUS; IIS and . Must be comfortable building and replacing computer hardware. Physical Requirements Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment (50
pounds).
