The System Test Group (STG)of Teradyne is the world's leading supplier of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for Electronic Boards and Assemblies. You will be working with the Development Team responsible for the TestStation Family of in-circuit test solutions. TestStation is the world's leading ICT Test Platform. This role will provide a high degree of responsibility, visibility and latitude.
Position Scope:
Designsystem software for ATE systems.
Conceive and implement GUI interfaces for program prep and tester software.
Evolve software in response to customer software inquiries and bug reports.
Document all software changes to facilitate smooth transfer to released software.
Detailed Job Description
You will be involved in all phases of software engineering. Working with senior engineers in the STG division, and with the latitude for independent contribution, you will be assigned to a variety of projects related to in-circuit test systems such as:
Design, implementation and documentation
Prototype debug and analysis
Testing and verification of performance
Sustaining engineering on established products
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:
Successful candidates must have a BS/BA in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. A BS/BAin Electrical or Computer Engineering may be acceptable with sufficient software experience. An advanced degree in CS/CE/EE is a plus.
Knowledge of .NET and C+
is required; C, C# and/or XML is desired
Demonstrated knowledge of MFC and Object Oriented Methodologies / UML
Knowledge of MS Visual Studio Development tools and the Microsoft Windows Platforms
General understanding of software engineering processes is necessary
Demonstrable hardware/driver knowledge.
Highly motivated team player who can excel in a dynamic environment with strong personal discipline, and good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently and on cross-functional teams
