Software Development Engineer, Amazon Robotics Manipulation

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to architect, design, and develop technologies that deliver state-of-the-art robotic manipulation systems.
You will be part of diverse, collaborative team of engineers (hardware, software) and scientists developing the next generation of end-effectors and algorithms that will be deployed across a world-wide fleet of robotic manipulation systems.
Our organization launched the first large-scale Robotic Manipulation capability in 2020 (Robin).
The solution has now scaled to a fleet of >1300 and has shipped >3B packages.
No comparable solutions exist in the world.
We are now evolving Robotic Manipulation capabilities into new process paths including manipulation of individual items (Sparrow); these advancements will result in fleets exceeding 10,000 that will unlock Amazon's ability to improve service to our customers.
We have come a long way in demonstrating the viability of Robotics at scale but we are still very early in the journey of transforming Amazon Fulfillment and the world.
If you are passionate about shaping the future then this is the right opportunity for you.
