Systems Electrical Hardware Manager

The international headquarters of Teradyne in North Reading, MA is looking for a Electrical Systems Hardware Manager to join the Storage and System-Level Test group in the design of Automated Testing Systems for IC's. This group is part of our semiconductor test organization, testing the world's leading commercial devices. Responsibilities This is a management position leading a team of engineers in the design of complex next generation test equipment. The systems electrical team scope includes power distribution, control cabinet design, harness design, safety and EMC certifications, ESD, automation motor / PLC selection, PID tuning and more. This hands-on manager's responsibilities include working with cross-functional design teams, including Mechanical, Thermal, Software and PCB on the development of new platforms providing direction and motivating staff in their development working with customers from new product concepts to field issue debug. Basic Qualifications & Skills A minimum of 5 years of direct management experience along with 8
years' experience in the following areas. System schematics safety certifications Interconnect diagrams PDU design Cable design Network architecture AC and DC Power distribution ESD mitigation strategies Life cycle design experience from design to product release to manufacturing and customer support. Experience with SOLIDWORKS Electrical is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
