The Innovation Lab is an advanced R&D team that is part of the Semiconductor Test Division at Teradyne. We have a dual charter to technically support the growth of the division and company:
1.Create long term differentiated solutions for our core Semiconductor Test business by exploring new technologies and architectures to be applied against current and emerging key requirements for our customers. 2.Working with our Business Development Office, develop differentiated solutions to new business opportunities adjacent to our core business. These will generally enable new businesses within our existing customer base. Responsibilities Interacting with customers to define requirements for new optical test products. Leading a cross functional engineering team to develop the product architecture. Creating and managing the product development plan working with project management, functional engineering managers and key engineers. Create a product verification plan and ramp plan with project management, product QA and product support. Manage the deployment and closure of customer support tasks after product release across the broad product development and support organization. Basic Qualifications & Skills At least 10 years working experience in engineering product development with focus on developing innovative technical solutions, preferably with an optics focus. At least 5 years of project leadership/ engineering management experience with direct project leadership responsibilities. The candidate should have broad technical curiosity and be highly versatile in multiple optical technologies. Knowledge of multiple technical fields such as optics, mechanical engineering, motion systems, materials science, electronics, semiconductors etc would be beneficial. Education o BS in Engineering or Physics, MS preferred.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Engineering Management, Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
