Hardware Engineer

Organization & Role In your role as a Hardware and FPGA Engineer, you will be an integral part of a world class team designing best of class in-circuit test systems. You will be working with cross functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and software to define functionality, create custom specifications, deliver the design and perform the system integration and test. Responsibilities Design of analog and digital instruments for automated test equipment Creation and support of FPGA code within those designs Ongoing design maintenance for obsolescence, cost reduction, or RoHS Investigating customer-reported problems for root cause analysis Implementing improvements in design, test, and/or operations to resolve problems Supporting and sustaining designs through the entire product life cycle. Basic Qualifications & Skills 5 to 10 years working with complex, high density multilayer printed circuit boards Digital design experience is required; analog design and mixed signal design experience is a plus Proficiency in schematic capture, hardware design, printed circuit board design Demonstrated experience with FPGA programming, and the VHDL programming language Strong electrical debug skills and advanced trouble shooting techniques Strong lab skills with hands-on experience operating oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators etc. Ability to work independently as well as on cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills Hands-on practical approach to problem solving Demonstrated expertise in board bring-up Experience with Cadence tools and Spice is a plus Experience with Vivado and Xilinx ISE design tools is a plus Must be able to work on site in North Reading, MA Education BSEE or MSEE Position Located in North Reading, MA #LI-BW1 Nearest Major Market:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Hardware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
