You will be working with the Development Team on the world's leading ICT Test Platform, the TestStation family of in-circuit test solutions. This role will provide a high degree of responsibility, visibility, and latitude. Responsibilities Position Scope A Hardware Engineer in the Production Board Test group will be responsible for concept-through-production design of analog and digital instruments for automated test equipment. The engineer will perform a variety of complex activities covering the design of new products as well as sustaining support of the hardware. These can include:
new instrument design, ongoing design maintenance for obsolescence, cost reduction, or RoHS; and investigating customer-reported problems for root cause analysis and implementing improvements in design, test, and/or operations to resolve those problems. Basic Qualifications & Skills Analog instrument design experience is required over the operating range of DC to 100MHz. This would include familiarity with op amps, filters, data conversion, control systems and loop stability; digital and high-speed transmission line design experience is a plus. Proficiency in schematic capture, hardware design, printed circuit board design. Strong electrical debug skills and advanced trouble shooting techniques. Strong lab skills with hands on experience operating oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators etc. Work independently as well as on cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Hands-on practical approach to problem solving. Experience with Cadence Tools, Spice, MathCad, MathLab, is a plus. Experience with FPGA programming a plus. Highly motivated team player and independent learner who can excel in a dynamic environment with strong personal discipline and a strong sense of ownership; good verbal and written communication skills Education BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 7 to 10 years of experience in designing complex, high density multilayer printed circuit boards, including demonstrated expertise in board bring-up, and supporting such designs successfully through the entire product life cycle. This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated or subject to weekly testing for onsite access. #LI-BW1
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Hardware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
